Tamil Cinema to support Anna Hazare
Kollywood will go on a one-day token fast in support of Anna Hazare, who is fighting for the Jan Lok Pal, which will put an end to corruption. Anna is on an indefinite fast at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi and in order to show their support the Tamil film industry will go on a one-day fast at the Film Chamber complex in Chennai.This fast is being organized at the behest of the Producers’ Council. The Council’s Chairman SA Chandrasekar, Nadigar Sangam’s General Secretary Radha Ravi, director Cheran, Theatre Owners’ Association President Abhirami Ramanathan, Distributors’ Council Chairman Kalaipuli G Sekaran and several others are expected to participate in this fast.
